It is always better to take certain steps and prevent any particular condition from affecting our health than waiting for it to happen and then ultimately trying to cure it using different cures and undergoing pain and suffering as our result of our carelessness. Our eyes are the most important part of our sense organ system and therefore it is imperative that we take every measure to take good care of then so that they last us our whole life through. However to take good care of our eyes there are certain steps that we must follow and then the well being of our eyes will be assured for the rest of our mortal lives. Here are the following steps that you can take to ensure that. On a general note you must consume a lot of vitamins and that should specially include Vitamin A. also your diet should be mineral rich as that is really good for the eyes.

One very little fact that people do not know about eye care is the fact that if the eyes are taken care of then the aging processes are slowed down like macular degeneration, for example. Also it prevents a loss of eyesight due to issues like strain, eye diseases or even accidents. Other than proper nutrition there are certain eye exercises that you could do to ensure your vision remains intact. Quality and useful best eye care tips will help you to take care of your eyes for the better.

Tip 1:

there are Vitamins like Vitamin A,  E and C are really good for the eyes. Vitamin A reduces the probability of cataract, and night blindness and is found in carrots and sweet potatoes. Deficiencies can cause macular degeneration as well as corneal ulcers. Vitamin E reduces the risk of macular degeneration and cataracts and are found in nuts like almond and hazelnuts while Vitamin C reduces Glaucoma and aging processes related to the eye as well and is found in oranges, strawberries, etc. This is because all vitamins are a rich source of antioxidants and antioxidants prevent the oxidizing of tissues which lead to degeneration.

Tip 2:

take a lot of minerals and supplements as well. These help the body to metabolize the vitamins which have been consumed. They also help the hormones and body balance nutrition. There are certain minerals which help eye care and these include Lutein, Bioflavonoids and Carotenoid as well. For Carotenoids, eat a lot of fruits like oranges, mangoes and tomatoes as well.  Eat a lot of seafood as well as these contain omega-3 fatty acids which are good for the eye as well. Do some of these eye exercises and these will really help you.

  1. Palming:Rub your hands together and cup them. Then place them over your closed eyes and breathe in and out, deeply. Do it for five minute breaks during work.
  2. Write and follow the hand movements as you do.
  3. Roll both your eyes simultaneously in circles. Then close your eyes and do the same.
  4. Shut your eyes for one single blink and rub your palms together while you do. So follow up the blink with a palming session.
  5. Cover your eyes with a soft cloth for three to five minutes and make sure no light creeps in.

Once you follow these rules faithfully and regularly, your eyes will remain as bright and healthy for as long you live.
